JAL-JEEVAN AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT SOCIETY (JJWES)
VISION:-
JJWES Visualizes the holistic development of the target sections of the society through socioeconomic, cultural and political empowerment education with special focus on women and children.
MISSION:-
poverty reduction through the Natural resource management, Climate change adoption, Livelihood promotion, renewable energy promotion, promoting health & education, and also to achieve the gender equality
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:-
- To promote Natural Resource Management through water conservation, water harvesting and soil moisture conservation, forest and livestock etc.
- To undertake research and training activities and Climate change adoption
- To co-ordinate with governments and non government organization for Development of vulnerable groups such as women children handicapped and old age in educational vocational health relief and rehabilitation
- To improve the socio economic status of the poor people through livelihood promotion
- To promote health & Nutrition education activities for the development of rural and urban women & children and remote villages.
- To bring the ecological balance and to protect the environment by renewable energy promotion.
- To bring the Gender equality and women empowerment and youth development.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:-
- Build the capacities of SHGs and V. Os and to ensure the V.O management and effective governance in V.Os and MMS.
- Sensitizing parents, Childern & teacher on child rights.
- Provide training support and creates awareness among CLDP &MGNREGS Beneficiaries.
- Sustainable Agriculture / Horticulture development.
- Livelihoods and habitat.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORIGIN AND DEVLOPMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION:-
JJWES is a Non Government Organization (NGO) established with likeminded people who were mainly From the social sector, aiming at the development of the target population for their self esteem and dignity of life.JJWES as a development organizations registered with Registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act., 2001, Registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act., 2001, Registration Number: No: 38 of 2021 in KAMAREDDY, NIZAMABAD dirstct it started working in Jan 2021. The organization believes in building the capacities of the people with which they start analyzing their social, economical, political and cultural situations and develop strategies to encounter the poverty and oppression. It stated its community development activates kamreddy, Nizamabad district working among rural and urban poor for the self sustence through empowerment education process. the Organization initiated its activities by conducting health camps, literacy programs, and sensitization on child rights, legal awareness’ camps, family counseling center and environment awareness’ programme,plantation of tress and promotion of kichan garden, forming and strengthen self help Groups SHGs and started understanding the issues of people. with this analysis and experience the Organization shifted its activates from welfer natured to development oriented, as it is a need for a change in attitudes and values of the people. JJWES is established for empowering women in the rural society and over a period of time it has gained experience and exposure and now it need to concentrate on various facets of social and economic development in the society. it is specialized in providing services to social development, health care,economic development of women and children ,addressing social issues in the society, working for the appropriate mind set of the targeted people and then frame their ambitions for participatory development and ultimately strive from threshold level of social developments is the principle endeavor of the organization. The organization believes that a threshold level of social development is crucial for paving a way for sustainable development. In order to bring threshold level of the social development, the basic minimum services i.e. Education, Health, etc have a always been our targeted issues in the society. JJWES has developed good relationship with key government stakeholders and it is helping the project staff to work with government and ssscocited instructions effectively. JJWES mode of working with established CBOs promoted under IKP, HIV /AIDS services providers and law enforcing authorities is found to be very cost effective, organization is looking forward to have formal agreement between JJWES and IKP and Network of PLHAs in the district for implement the project activities and to have a lasting and sustainable approach in the start to run.

The organization has standard procedures and Polices in Human Resoures, Financial Management and accounting Systems. any work place policy and gender Policy in the Organization.

JJWES has good working relationship with the Government Institutions and NGOs in the District level it networks and coordinates with DRDA /IKP, District water management Agency (DWMA) and District women & Child Development Agency (DWCDA ) District Aids Preventions and control Unit (DAPUC ) AND other NGOs. It is also in the Advisory Board on Dowry Prohibition act in the District Legal cell Committee members, Kamareddy, Nizamabad In state level, jjwes is one of the members of TELANGANA state NGO alliance (TSNA) in Department of Rural Development Government of Telangana.

The management of affairs of the organization is entrusted to the General body who nominates a Governing body consisting of seven members as board members. The Governing Body performs through the president and supported Vice president, Treasurer and secretary. The Treasurer of the Organization takes the responsibility as chief Functionary (CF) and responsible for the day administrative and implementations of the various projects. At the project level the CF is supported by project managers for NABARD and all projects supported projects. The General Body meets once in a year and the Governing Body meets at regular intervals to take stock of the Organizations.
